Supported Accessibility Features
VoiceOver Support
Beak Keeper is fully compatible with iOS VoiceOver screen reader. All interactive elements include descriptive labels, and the app provides helpful hints to guide navigation.

Voice Control
Navigate and control Beak Keeper using only your voice. All buttons and interactive elements are accessible through iOS Voice Control.
Dynamic Type / Larger Text
Beak Keeper respects your system text size preferences. Increase the text size in your device settings, and the app will adapt its layout to remain readable and usable.
Dark Mode
Full support for both Light and Dark appearance modes. Beak Keeper also includes an OLED Dark Mode option for true black backgrounds, reducing eye strain and saving battery on OLED displays.

Reduced Motion
When you enable "Reduce Motion" in your device settings, Beak Keeper eliminates animations and transitions. Page switches happen instantly, making the app comfortable for users sensitive to motion.
High Contrast & Color Independence
Beak Keeper uses color combinations that meet accessibility contrast standards. Status indicators include icons and text labels in addition to colors, ensuring information is never conveyed by color alone.

How to Enable Accessibility Features
On iOS
- Open the Settings app
- Tap Accessibility
- Choose the feature you want to enable:
- VoiceOver - Under "Vision"
- Voice Control - Under "Physical and Motor"
- Larger Text - Under "Display & Text Size"
- Reduce Motion - Under "Motion"
In Beak Keeper
- Open Beak Keeper and tap the Settings icon (gear)
- Under Appearance, choose your preferred theme:
- Light Mode
- Dark Mode
- OLED Dark Mode
- System (follows device setting)
